Read 2 minutes before Monday. This week we plant, and we start two habits that carry the whole arc: the cycle clock (day counting) and the daily ritual. The big idea is that a seed is alive and waiting, not dead. Monday is the planting ceremony; keep it slow and a little bit ceremonial, because this is the emotional start of the program. Wednesday we open a soaked bean to see the baby plant, food store, and coat with our own eyes. By Friday the seeds are in, the lights are on, and we have a class prediction running. There will be no sprouts yet, and that is expected; the ritual measures water this week so the act of measuring is already a habit when the green arrives.
